It's hard to ignore the breathtaking beauty and unearthly grace that is Joan Smalls. Gracing W Magazine's July 2012 cover, Joan was photographed by Steven Meisel as part of the Fall Trend Preview issue.
Besides being a really good cover, aesthetically speaking, Joan Smalls follows a rocking cover with Tom Cruise, a movie – affair with Nicole Kidman and Clive Owen and an appealing Jessica Biel. March 2012 has been W's model issue cover, with Kate Moss as the main highlight; if you remember, that inside pictorial with Good Kate, Bad Kate was one of the best ever. I cross my fingers for Joan's to be just the same! I know she can deliver, so it was really just up to the editors if they wanted it big or just… average. And as far as I can tell, the cover is big, so that's saying something already!
