On the red carpet, celebrities are expected to look their best. But that doesn't mean wardrobe malfunctions, makeup mishaps and other beauty disasters don't occur.
One easily preventable red carpet tragedy that has occurred more often than you might think: Tan lines. Jennifer Lopez, a frequent offender, Hayden Panettiere, Jada Pinkett Smith and more stars have stepped out into the spotlight flashing pale and blotchy spots. Does this at least mean they are tanning the old fashion way.
If you find yourself left with tan lines like the stars below, bust out the self-tanner or a darker foundation for a quick fix. After an unfortunate sunbathing experience, I corrected the problem with Sally Hansen's Airbrush Legs Spray…. on my shoulders. Sometimes all it takes it just a little creativity.
