All major details for The Wanted’s upcoming third studio album and first global release, ‘Word of Mouth,’ came out this week.

Will the worldwide welcoming of The Wanted’s “Glad You Came” in 2012 soon become “We Forgot About You”? In the boy band wars, as One Direction gears up for its third studio album around Christmas, The Wanted have their third studio album – and first full-length worldwide release – scheduled to come out on September 16.

Details were recently confirmed. The follow-up to 2011’s Battleground is called Word of Mouth and will include their successful singles “Walks Like Rihanna,” “Chasing the Sun,” and “I Found You.” Collaborations with Justin Bieber, Nasri, Dr. Luke, and Rita Ora are expected, although an official track list as not been released.

Apparently, the boy band has been working in the release for close to two years. Tom Parker, in a statement, said: “We think it’s our strongest album to date. We can’t wait for our fans to hear it. They’ve been really patient but hopefully they’ll think it’s worth the wait!”

Before Word of Mouth hits stores, a follow up to “Walks Like Rihanna” is scheduled to come out: “We Own the Night” is scheduled for August 11, with a clip previewing the track on their E! reality series The Wanted Life.

Speaking about the track, Nathan Sykes, who had been on hiatus for vocal difficulties earlier this year, said: “It takes us right back to the sound which everyone knows us for and sets the mood for the album.”

Do you think Word of Mouth will be a hit, or has too much time passed since “Glad You Came”?
