Jessica Biel gave birth to Silas Randall Timberlake just last week, so it's not surprising to hear that she didn't make it to the premiere for her new movie, Bleeding Heart. Yahoo News reported that the actress was not ready to go into Holllywood mode so soon after the pregnancy.
But while Biel and hubby Justin Timberlake didn't make it to New York City's ironically named Silas Theatre at the Tribeca Fiilm Festival, they did find time to lend a hand with another public appearance: the first photo of their newborn child.
Timberlake shared the snap of Biel holding Silas as he looked up into the camera on his Instagram and it's adorable. Silas is decked out in Memphis Grizzlies gear, ready to cheer for his favorite basketball team alongside Mom and Dad. Timberlake is a huge Grizzlies fan and also a minority owner of the team.
Timberlake captioned the photo with "The Timberlakes are ready!!! GO GRIZZ!"
It's nice to see that Biel and Timberlake are willing to put their careers on hold and take care of family matters first. A recent report in Vanity Fair also claimed that the Timberlakes plan on raising Silas up in Montana on a real estate development that borders Yellowstone National Park. The location at the Yellowstone Club will hopefully keep the new family out of sight of the media as Silas grows up.
