Taylor Swift brought out the big guns for her fifth and final Los Angeles show at Staples Center on Wednesday evening.
The singer kicked off the night of star-studded surprises by inviting her best friend and “Bad Blood” co-star Selena Gomez for a duet of her newest hit “Good for You.” This performance marks the first time Selena has ever performed the single live onstage.
Following her Selena surprise, the singer pulled out pop gentleman Justin Timberlake, who she introduced to the sold-out arena as her “favorite artist.” After the two swapped verses on “Mirrors,” Swift acknowledged JT’s return to the stage since welcoming his first child, Silas Randall, with wife Jessica Biel in April.
“Tonight has been eventful for me at least,” she said (via ET Online). “Justin hasn’t performed since he became a dad and I’m so honored that this was his first performance back. He has given me so many incredible pieces of advice … I just am so happy he would dedicate his night to coming out and playing for you guys. He’s just the best — that’s why he’s my favorite.”
And for her final act, Friends actress Lisa Kudrow made a left-field appearance as her famed character, Phoebe Buffay, and performed the iconic ditty “Smelly Cat” with Swift.
Taylor is now heading to Petco Park stadium in San Diego, California this Saturday (August 29) where she will continue her blockbuster 1989 World Tour.
