USA Network Premiers Playing House

“Playing House” premieres on the USA Network April 29th and features real-life best friends Jessica St. Clair and Lennon Parham.

In addition to serving as creators and executive producers, St. Clair and Parham star as lifelong BFF’s who move in together to raise Parham’s character’s unborn child. It’s always some cheating husband, isn’t it?

Oddly enough, both women were pregnant when they shot the pilot — Parham eight months, St. Clair three months — and both had already given birth when they went into production on the series.

On the subject of gathering such a talented group of comedians, St. Clair said, “We had babies and we were exhausted, so we decided to cast the funniest improvisors we could so we didn’t have to do so much work.”

We’re so excited for USA’s new show Playing House, Parham & St. Clair are hilarious!

The show also stars “Key & Peele’s” Keegan-Michael Key, who plays Mark, a cop (and Emma’s first love), and former “Malcolm in the Middle” star Jane Kaczmarek as Emma’s mother.

Playing House” is the story of two childhood best friends who have remained incredibly close friends over the years, and the show will delve into the true meaning behind what it means to be someone’s “BFF”, as the two friends are prepping for one of life’s biggest adventures together … raising a baby!

2 friends. 1 baby. No clue.

Are you ready to play house?

Playing House premieres Tuesday, April 29 at 10/9c on USA.
